British Sign Language Training (BSL)
Free BSL Taster Sessions
Deaf Links are delighted to offer FREE taster sessions in BSL on:
Tuesday 30th March 2010, 6.30pm - 8.45pm - SORRY, FULLY BOOKED
Wednesday 31st March 2010, 10.00am - 12.15pm - SORRY, FULLY BOOKED

Level 1 Classes
Following on from the taster sessions, for those who are interested in taking their sign language learning further there will be Level 1 BSL classes starting at the end of April 2010. The Level 1 course is made up of 3 progressive units, building you confidence and skills in BSL. Each unit will involve 12 weeks teaching and costs only £115 per unit. Each unit can be paid for individually. The start dates are:
Tuesday 27th April 2010, 6.30pm - 8.15pm (Evening Course)
Wednesday 28th April 2010, 10.00am - 12.15pm (Daytime Course)

Deaf Awareness Training:
The March 2010 Signature (CACDP) Deaf and Deafblind Awareness 2 day course is now full but there are still places available on the other dates this year. This very popular training is ideal for personal development as well as helping organisations meet their requirements to deaf people under the Disability Discrimination Act. Details below:

Deaf Links are now able to help deaf people in reporting crime or information to Tayside Police. The police call this 'Remote Reporting'. If you want to report a crime or have information for the police and do not want to go to the police station, contact Alana at Deaf Links who will help you complete a form and pass this onto Tayside Police for you.
